Xiaomi Poco F1 is now available for buying from offline stores

You can now buy the Xiaomi Poco F1 from physical retail stores. Starting Saturday, October 13, the Poco F1 will be available for buying from Xiaomi’s Mi Home stores, with broader availability — via offline partners — coming from October 17. The price of the Poco F1 that you buy from an offline store may vary though. On Flipkart and Mi.com/in, the Poco F1 starts at Rs 20,999, but the phone may cost you a little more should you buy it from a Mi Home store or from Xiaomi’s offline partners.
The Poco F1 has a starting price of Rs 20,999. This is for the base 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version sells for Rs 23,999, while the top-tier version with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage sells for Rs 28,999. Poco also has a special armored edition of the Poco F1 that ships with a Kevlar back, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The armored edition of the Poco F1 sells for Rs 29,999.
« The brand has taken added efforts to ensure that the devices will be available at an aggressive pricing close to their online prices with slight variations in order to compensate for the retail operational costs, » Xiaomi said in a press statement.
The Poco F1 was previously available through weekly flash sale on Flipkart and Mi.com/in. Only recently, Xiaomi dropped the flash sale model with respect to the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant of the Poco F1, adding that all the other variants of the phone will be available for buying round the clock soon. The move to bring the Poco F1 to offline sales channels again points towards the fact that Xiaomi is ramping up production of the Poco F1 in India, so it can offer more units for buying.

The Poco F1 was launched in August in India and managed to make Xiaomis Poco over Rs 200 crore in 5 minutes in its first sale on August 30. In September, the company announced it was dropping the flash sale model for one of its models and now in October it has announced offline availability in time for the festive season. Clearly, Xiaomi’s Poco is looking to make the most of it, but it also goes on to show, how far Xiaomi has come from its initial days when it had trouble meeting demand.
