DICE has kicked off the week with a new Battlefield 5 server-side update for all players.
It’s been relatively quiet on the Battlefield 5 front since the game launched. The game previously received a minor server-side update, as well as a client patch at the deluxe edition launch nearly two weeks ago.
Later yesterday, another server-side update was made available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Server updates don’t require any downloads, and are often reserved for balance tweaks and other fixes that don’t require a code change.
In this case, the update fixed a problem causing certain weapons to remain locked despite players having reached the required level.
