Amazon has sporadic sales on its Echo speakers through the year, but we’re expecting to see major discounts once Black Friday and Cyber Monday hit. See all the best deals here.
Amazon’s Echo devices are growing in popularity by the day, and you’ll be pleased to hear that there are special offers available on them quite regularly if you know where to look, especially now that Black Friday is nearly here. We share the best Echo deals with you here.

We’ve scoured Amazon and beyond for the best Echo deals and have collected them here.
Amazon’s smart speaker range has grown over the years with the Echo (1st, 2nd, and 3rd generations), the Echo Plus, and Echo Dot – and don’t forget the Echo Show and the smaller Echo Spot, both of which feature a screen.
There are now even more Echo devices to choose from with the upgraded Echo Dot (3rd generation) and the Echo Plus 2. The Echo Sub, Amazon’s deep bass subwoofer, is also new to the family (due to return in stock on Amazon UK on 18 December).
You can buy the Echo Sub on its own or get it as a part of the Echo Stereo System bundle which saves you £60 and includes two Echo (2nd generation) devices. You can also opt to get the Sub with two Echo Plus devices, which saves you £100.
Finally, and somewhat different to Amazon’s speaker devices, is the Echo Input that’s due to release 12 December. The Input allows you to add Alexa functionality to any external speaker via Bluetooth or a 3.5mm audio cable. You can pre-order or sign up on the product page to get an email notification once it’s ready to order.
Right now, there’s a £35 discount on an Amazon Echo Input and UE Boom 3 Wireless speaker bundle. View this deal here.
We will be reviewing the new Echo devices once they are available. In the meantime, check out our existing reviews on all other Echo devices to see which one is right for you:
We’ve also compared different models:
Finding a good deal on the Echo is not extremely straightforward. Amazon does have sales on its devices every few months or so, and during major events like Prime Day, but you would have to closely follow the site to snag them on time. We’re expecting to see discounts on Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Elsewhere, large retailers like Currys PC World or Argos often match Amazon prices when Echo devices go on sale – so you’re unlikely to find prices that go any lower than Amazon’s. That does not mean, however, retailers won’t find other ways to be competitive through bundle offers – which works for us deal hunters.
Right now, Amazon has £10 off the Echo Dot 2, which is now £39.99.
Amazon often bundles deals on Echo devices when you buy two together. These products are currently on offer when you buy two: Echo Show 2 (£100 off), Echo 2 (£25 off), Echo Spot (£40 off) and Echo Dot 3 (£10 off).
The Echo Stereo System, that includes two Amazon Echo 2 devices and one Echo Sub also saves you £60 when bought as a bundle. It comes in stock 18 December, but you can order it now. Get this deal here.
There is also the Echo Plus Stereo System that pairs two Echo Plus 2 devices with the Echo Sub, which saves you £100 from buying the devices separately. This also becomes available 18 December. Get this deal here.
Amazon bundles Echo devices with Philips Hue smart lighting too. While this may not directly cut the cost of the device itself, you do save overall if you’re interested in making your home an Alexa-enabled one.
Right now, you can get up to £39.60 off with an Echo Dot 3 and Philips Hue White Starter Kit (E27) bundle. The Echo Plus (1st gen) with a Philips Hue White E27 bulb has £14.95 off. Also save £14.95 with a Echo Show 2 and Philips Hue White Bulb (E27) .
A great way to save on Echo devices directly from Amazon is through buying refurbished. Refurbished prices can save you up to 54% off the RRP on other Amazon devices too, like Kindle e-readers and Fire tablets.
Certified refurbished devices go through rigorous testing (hence « certified ») to ensure products are just like new. You also get a separate 1-year limited warranty. Click here to see all Amazon Certified Refurbished deals.
In the US, there are a lot more options for certified refurbished Amazon devices:

Currys often matches Amazon’s prices on Echo devices, so where you can save is on tie-in offers with other products like Fitbits and antivirus software. Some of the best deals right now from Currys include:

You can find Echo deals from third-party sellers as well. Newegg, sometimes has bundle deals on Echo devices. See all Echo deals on Newegg here.
