Caitlyn Jenner’s home has reportedly burned down after being caught in the path of the Southern California wildfires.
Caitlyn Jenner’s Malibu home has reportedly been destroyed by wildfires.
TMZ reported on Friday that the reality star’s home burned down on Friday after being engulfed by the devastating Southern California wildfires that have forced Malibu into a mandatory evacuation.
The home, which was heavily featured on Jenner’s two-season E! reality show, « I Am Cait, » was a luxurious structure situated on a ridge overlooking the beach in Malibu, just north of Los Angeles. She moved there in 2015, the same year she came out as transgender.
Jenner’s estranged former half-daughters, Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian were forced to evacuate their Hidden Hills home on Thursday night after the fires threatened their homes, too.
« Pray for Calabasas, » Kardashian wrote on Instagram. « Just landed back home and had 1 hour to pack up & evacuate our home. I pray everyone is safe. »
Shortly after reporting that Jenner’s home had been destroyed, TMZ added that the fires had reached Kardashian’s home that she shares with rapper Kanye West, writing that their new home « is in grave danger of being consumed by flames » and that they’ve evacuated their entire security team from the premises.
West took to Twitter to say that his family was safe after vacating their home. His tweet also came after reports of shots fired on the set of a music video he was filming in Beverly Hills.
