The Camp Fire in Northern California’s Butte County was contained Sunday morning at 153,336 acres, Cal Fire reported.
The massive blaze began the morning of Nov. 8 on Camp Creek Road near the town of Paradise and has since become the most destructive wildfire in California history.
The Butte County sheriff’s office and Cal Fire have reported 85 fatalities and over 18,000 structures destroyed in and around Paradise.
