After quietly announcing the Nokia 7.1 in India on Friday, HMD will now hold an event on December 10 to announce the Nokia 8.1. The Nokia 8.1 is tipped to be the global variant of the Nokia X7.
It was previously reported that HMD would be holding a launch in India on December 6 to announce the Nokia 7.1 and Nokia 8.1. However, things have changed. The company quietly announced the Nokia 7.1 in India on Friday, and simultaneously sent out invites for a new launch date, which is now Monday, December 10. This event is expected to see the launch of the Nokia 8.1, which is the global variant of the Nokia X7.
HMD is on schedule to announce three new Nokia phone in Dubai on December 5. Out of the three, two are expected to be the Nokia 7.1 and Nokia 8.1. There are rumours that the company will also announce the Nokia 9 flagship as the third device.
