Psyonix has announced the Xbox One X enhaced capability of Rocket league with many other new features and adjustments in its December Update.
Psyonix has finally announced Xbox One X enhancement update for Rocket League. The 4K support for Xbox One X was first announced back in 2017 for Rocket League. But due to some technical challenges, the update got rescheduled to 2018.
Now the enhanced capability is coming in mere weeks. Game Director Scott Rudi has confirmed that Xbox One X players will be able to experience Rocket League in native 4K resolution at 60 FPS, SuperSampling feature enabled for the users when playing on a 1920×1080 display.
The December update will bring some new features and enhancements for all of the platforms. This will include Leaderboards for the Rocket League’s Ranked Extra Modes.
New adjustments are coming to the game’s overhauled XP and Progression System. New community flags and also includes a selection of music in the form of Rocket League x Monstercat Vol. 5 EP.
Apart from its support on 4K televisions. The Update is offering High Dynamic Range in the gameplay. The enhanced support allows the user for adjusting the Paper White and Contrast settings. The Update also brings the adjustable option for a Side-by-Side visualizer.
Rocket League is a vehicular soccer video game developed by Psyonix. The game was first released for PC and PlayStation 4 on July 2015. Later it was supported on other platforms as well like Xbox One, macOS, Linux, and Nintendo Switch.
This year Rocket League has surpassed 40 million players worldwide .
In August, Psyonix announced its Rocket League Ultimate Edition for PS4 Xbox One and for the Nintendo Switch. The Edition brings many of the DLCs from the popular titles including Batman vs Superman Dawn of Justice car pack, and other DC superheroes DLC pack. All included in the Ultimate Edition pack.
Xbox One X enhancements for Rocket League will arrive as part of the December Update. The Update will arrive on 3rd December for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC.
