Viral star ‘Backpack Kid’ is suing Epic Games for using his ‘floss’ dance move that he popularized. He joins a couple of other people who are also suing in relation to the dance moves.
Fortnite is now facing a number of lawsuits concerned with dance moves found in the game that appear similar to other well-known dances. The Backpack Kid is the latest to sue Epic Games claiming some form of ownership over a specific dance.
According to TMZ, Backpack Kid’s mom is suing both Epic and NBA 2K19 publisher 2K Games over the “Floss” move that he allegedly popularized being featured in the game. The report indicates that he’s in the process of copyrighting the dance.
