Digit is an automatic savings app that will scan your checking account and automatically help you save my transferring excess cash to a savings account.
This works with the « out of sight, out of mind » idea that if it’s not in your account, you won’t spend it.
Digit reports that the average customer sees a savings of $300 to $500 per month in their savings account within a few months. Considering 60% of Americans don’t have $500 in savings, this is a big achievement.
