Former Rams star Isiah Robertson dies in car accident

Four-time All-Pro player, who was the Rams’ No. 10 overall draft pick out of Southern University, played 111 games for the team from 1971-78.
Isiah Robertson, a four-time All-Pro selection as a linebacker for the Rams in the 1970s, died in a car accident in Texas on Thursday night at age 69, according to a report from NFL.com.
The Rams used the No. 10 overall pick of the 1971 draft on Robertson, known as “Butch,” who quickly took over as a starting linebacker and was named the NFL’s defensive rookie of the year that season.
