Special counsel Robert Mueller’s office on Friday filed court documents responding to ex-national security adviser Michael Flynn’s sentencing memorandum, in which his lawyers said he was “unguarded” during an FBI interview in 2017.
“Nothing about the way the interview was arranged or conducted caused the defendant to make false statements to the FBI,” Mueller replied in the documents, ABC News reported .
