Anne Hathaway has long been a red carpet favorite, taking over awards season with a sense of sophistication that’s quite in demand for certain designers. Who could forget that breathtaking pale pink Prada gown she donned to the 2013 Academy Awards, where she won Best Actress for her role in « Les Miserables »?
But her red carpet style hasn’t always been as graceful as it is today.
At only 15, the actress struggled to find her fashion footing following her breakthrough success in « The Princess Diaries. » Following a slew of red carpet appearances in trousers, fringe and many, many chokers, Hathaway went on to dabble in couture gowns. In doing so, she stuck to simple colors (reds, whites and blacks) before eventually experimenting with various cuts, hues and geometric patterns.
