PARK CITY, Utah – The secret star of this year’s Sundance is none other than Britney Spears.
The notoriously private pop star, who recently announced she’s taking a career hiatus to care for her ailing dad, had the film festival buzzing Tuesday night with the premiere of her out-there new comedy « Corporate Animals, » in which she makes a minor cameo.
The irreverent survival comedy stars Demi Moore as Lucy, the ruthless CEO of Incredible Edible Cutlery, a flailing eco-friendly company that makes silverware you can eat. Bleeding money and nearing bankruptcy, Lucy attempts to distract her employees by taking them on a team-building expedition to canyons in New Mexico, where they get stuck underground following a cave-in.
