Everything that took place behind-the-scenes of Sunday night’s award show.
Four thousand glasses of champagne, secretly smuggled ham sandwiches and a room full of shocked A listers: the Golden Globes didn’t fail to disappoint.
The starry crowd inside the room at the Beverly Hilton Sunday night was either stunned by the huge snub for “A Star Is Born,” wondering if they could join Jeff Bridges on whatever he’d imbibed, or pondering if Chrissy Metz really did call Alison Brie a “bitch” on the red carpet. So Chrissy Metz could be forgiven for apparently calling Alison Brie a “bitch” on a hot mic during a red carpet interview — but the “This Is Us” star spent the rest of the night apologizing, insisting she actually said Brie was “hot” and even privately saying sorry to a baffled Brie herself.
While all the big announcements happen on the broadcast, the ad breaks give the stars time to get up and mingle.
