The riddle reads as follows:

The reason this is so surprising is that so far, none of the hints posted by Epic have even slightly implied that pirates may be involved. The closest thing is a bit of wordplay – the in-game map appears to be cracking, or ‘kraken’. Get it? Kraken?
Surprises and legendary cephalopods aside, there’s many possibilities to be had here. Season 8 could introduce a whole host of sea-faring goodies.
Fortnite could have traditional pirate themed skins that allow you to outfit your player with a shiny new eye patch, a captain’s hat, or even a colorful parrot.
