Carl Hagelin didn’t last long with the Kings. He came to them from Pittsburgh via a trade in November, and on Thursday he was traded to the Washington Capitals for a third-round pick in this year’s draft and a conditional sixth-round pick in 2020.
Hagelin, 30, is in his eighth season in the NHL.
