Trump says America’s Europen allies should take back ISIS terrorists and put them on trial
President Donald Trump called on European nations late on Feb. 16 to repatriate and prosecute hundreds of the ISIS terrorist group who have been captured by the United States and its allies in Syria. Trump warned that the terrorists may end up being released as the United States pulls forces out of the region.
“The United States is asking Britain, France, Germany, and other European allies to take back over 800 ISIS fighters that we captured in Syria and put them on trial. The Caliphate is ready to fall. The alternative is not a good one in that we will be forced to release them, ” Trump wrote on Twitter.
