Respawn Entertainment has commented on a slew of new characters revealed in recent Apex Legends datamining, cautioning that all is not as it seems.
We recently saw some Apex Legends datamining potential reveal some new characters. Rumors of an upcoming new Legend or the launch of the Apex Legends Battle Pass got even more intense yesterday when the Origin home screen was updated to show what appears to be a new character (as seen in our header image). Respawn Entertainment has come out of the woodwork to address the rumors born from Apex Legends datamining — and it’s not all good news.
“There’s lots of stuff that has been datamined from Apex since launch and is swirling around the Internet,” Respawn Entertainment Community Manager Jay “JayFresh” Frechette began in a statement on the /r/ApexLegends subreddit.
