'Processing this is impossible': Shannen Doherty, Tori Spelling and more mourn Luke Perry

Celebrities are continuing to speak out and share messages and tributes on social media as they process their grief over actor Luke Perry, who died Monday after suffering a massive stroke last week.
Though he was best-known for his long-running role on « Beverly Hills, 90210, » the 52-year-old Perry had opened a new chapter playing a dad on CW’s « Riverdale. »
Shannen Doherty, who played Perry’s original love interest on « 90210, » shared on Instagram Tuesday how hard she’d been hit by the news.
« Yesterday morning I got a phone call that devastated me, » she captioned a series of photos with Perry. « I’m struggling with this loss and am having a hard time with my thoughts.
« But, my heart goes out to his family and friends who were blessed by his light in their (and mine) lives, » she added. « Processing this is impossible right now. »
Tori Spelling, who co-starred alongside Perry and is the daughter of executive producer Aaron Spelling, told People magazine that she was devastated.
“I’m in utter shock and heartbroken,” Spelling told the outlet in an exclusive statement. “I’m saddened for his kids whom he adored beyond words. He was so proud of Jack and Sophie.”
Alec Baldwin recalled meeting Perry after he starred in « 8 Seconds » with Baldwin’s brother, Stephen.
« The guy was a super leading man and had his big career in ‘90210’, really handsome guy, really sad, » he told Extra. « He could have made movies for the rest of his life… He was a good actor… To be sick like that and to pass, just unthinkable… I was very sad for his family.”
Stephen had a tribute of his own: « Rare to have friends who innately have the heart of giving, Luke was one of those people, » he tweeted.
Actor Leonardo DiCaprio, who co-stars in Perry’s final, upcoming film « Once Upon a Time In Hollywood, » praised Perry’s kindness as well as his talent.
« It was an honor to be able to work with him, » DiCaprio wrote on Twitter. « My thoughts and prayers go out to him and his loved ones. »
Actor Jon Cryer said he was « stunned. » « Such a lovely guy, » the « Two and a Half Men » star remembered of Perry. « With a wonderful sense of humor about fame and the pitfalls of Showbiz. This is just awful. »
Addressing Perry as « L. P., » Charlie Sheen tweeted: « you made every situation better, my man. your elegance your wit your charm and your giant heart, inspired and enchanted so many of us, on countless occasions, with brilliant aplomb.
« R. I. P good sir, » Sheen continued. « i am truly honored to have known you all of these years. »
Perry’s « 90210 » co-star Ian Ziering said that he « will forever bask in the loving memories we’ve shared over the last thirty years.
