Less than two weeks remain for Bungie’s latest in-game Destiny 2 The Revelry event. Following fan backlash against event bonuses interfering with competitive PvP modes, Bungie disabled Revelry Orbs from spawning in many modes like both Gambit and Gambit Prime, raids, and the Competitive crucible playlist. To make up for the change, Bungie has reworked the Competitive playlist Revelry Triumph to only require 20 orbs generated instead of 200.
In the meantime, Xur has returned to the world of Destiny 2 with a fully refreshed stock of exotic gear. Without any new Forsaken exotic items the past couple of weeks, most fans are hoping to see something unique this weekend. Oddly enough, Xur is back on Titan this weekend, a place he frequents more often than most.
Fast travel over to The Rig and start running to the back of the zone near the entrance to the Solarium. In the northwest corner of the more open section of The Rig, Xur is hiding out in a small house where the Hive and Fallen sometimes battle each other.
Added as part Destiny 2‘s Joker’s Wild annual pass update, the Invitation of the Nine quest for week 6 takes players to the Tangled Shore. Here are the details:
One thing to note this week is that Bungie has identified a blocking issue with this quest this week considering that Vex enemies can’t be found anywhere on The Tangled Shore.
