Atlus announces Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers with a new trailer, and it is not the Persona 5 Switch port that some fans have been hoping for.
Several weeks ago, a teaser website for the mysterious Persona 5 S launched, further fueling a longstanding rumor that a Switch port of Atlus’s acclaimed 2016 jRPG was on its way. Indeed, a number of fans expected Persona 5 S to be shorthand for Persona 5 Switch, but that is now confirmed to not be the case.
Earlier today, Atlus revealed the first trailer for Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, a new action RPG set to release on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on a currently unspecified date. Developed by Omega Force, a division of Koei Tecmo, Persona 5 Scramble is a musou game, and fans of the studio’s Dynasty Warriors franchise may find a lot to love in the new trailer.
