Xiaomi Redmi 6 has a successor now. On Wednesday, Xiaomi India launched the Redmi 7 at an event in New Delhi. The Redmi 7 price in India is set for Rs 7,999. This price is for the base model of the phone that packs 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. As I have also written on the quick review of the phone the Redmi 7 is a big upgrade over the Redmi 6, which was launched in India last year. The Redmi 7 is an upgraded version of its predecessor in almost all aspects be it the design, camera, core hardware, screen size, battery, among other things.
The Redmi 7 comes with a gradient design — or what Xiaomi calls Aura Smoke design. The Redmi 7 is launched in India in three colours — Eclipse Black, Lunar Red, and Comet Blue.
