OnePlus is holding simultaneous events around the world today, where it’s announcing its new 7 Series of handsets. While some regions are getting a OnePlus 7, the flagship model is the OnePlus 7 Pro.
Promising a fast and smooth experience, the key feature of this device is a 90Hz display; OnePlus is calling it Fluid AMOLED. The increased refresh rate will result in a smoother experience, and it can also give you an edge in gaming. OnePlus also bumped up the resolution to 1440p, something that it’s been holding back on doing. It’s 6.62 inches (516ppi) at 19.5:9, and it supports HDR10+.
The screen still has a fingerprint in it, and OnePlus promises that it’s even faster. There’s also a new feature called Horizon Light, which shows a blue ring around the display when it’s asleep.
