Per usual, federal government and local government offices will be closed, as will schools, courts, banks and post offices.

Traffic, of course, will be heavy as tourists stream in and residents stream out of the area.
Metro will run on a Sunday schedule (8 a.m.–11 p.m.) on Memorial Day.
A summer shutdown at several Blue and Yellow Line stations began May 25. Affected are the Franconia-Springfield, Van Dorn Street, Huntington, Eisenhower Avenue, King Street and Braddock Road stations.
