Looking for something upbeat amid the coronavirus pandemic? Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande are here to help with a new song.
The singers teamed up for “Rain On Me, » an upbeat dance track where each singer takes a turn with a verse. They also sing together on some of the choruses.
« I’d rather be dry, but at least I’m alive / Rain on me, rain, rain, » they sing.
As you may have guessed, there is plenty of rainy day weather imagery.
« I can feel it on my skin (It’s comin’ down on me) / Teardrops on my face (Water like misery), » the song continues. « Let it wash away my sins (It’s coming down on me)
Let it wash away, yeah. »
Lady Gaga released a music video for the song Friday, which opens up with a shot of the artist lying on the floor with a knife stab wound in her thigh.
