Manchester City’s appeal against a two-season ban from European competition by UEFA will be heard by the Court of Arbitration for Sport from 8-10 June, the Swiss court confirmed on Tuesday.
The reigning English champions are accused of committing « serious breaches » of UEFA’s financial fair play regulations by overstating sponsorship revenue in its accounts between 2012 and 2016.
On top of the ban, City were also fined €30 million.
When contacted by AFP, the court said it « does not yet know » if the appeal will be heard via video conference or in person due to the restrictions imposed to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
