Beshear confirmed a data breach in Kentucky’s system, but noted that no names, social security numbers or birth dates were viewed.
However, at least two individuals’ employer information was breached.
« At this time we don’t think that there is a threat to anybody’s credit or financial information at all, » Beshear said.
Beshear is expecting a final report by Kentucky’s inspector general « in the coming days, » he said.
