Today, Spotify launched a new streaming music subscription option aimed squarely at couples who live at the same address.
Spotify Premium Duo costs $12.99 per month and packages together two premium accounts that are free of ads. It also includes Duo Mix, described as « a playlist for two, regularly updated with music you both enjoy. » Spotify positioned Premium Duo squarely in the middle of the Individual plan ($9.99) and the Family plan ($14.99) and clearly hopes to entice a few couples stuck at home during the pandemic to sign up, or to realize they can save themselves $7 a month by switching their two Individual plans to Premium Duo.
