The teaser shows a phone a bold text that says ‘Prime’ and reflects it as ‘Nine’, and is said to launch at 12 noon on August 4 in India.
The ‘Prime’ can either mean a new variant of the Redmi 9 or could also say that the phone is a part of Amazon’s Prime Day launches which kicks off on August 6. We’ve even spotted the teasers on Amazon under Prime Day launches, which confirms that it will be available on Amazon. Some speculations also suggest that ‘Prime’ could be the Redmi 9C variant, a toned-down version of the Redmi 9.
