Leak claims an iPhone SE update is only coming in 2022
Apple is getting ready to launch the new-generation iPhone models, with people close to the matter saying the whole thing is supposed to take place on October 13, but the company is already working on future devices and making plans for the 2021 and 2022 updates. Theoretically, many expected the next year to bring, in addition to a non-5G iPhone 12 model in early 2021, a refresh of the iPhone SE, Apple’s smallest and most affordable new-generation iPhone right now. But according to Apple watcher Ross Young citing Mizuho Securities, Apple’s 2021 iPhone lineup won’t include an iPhone SE, but only upgrades to the iPhone 12 series.
