The Dell XPS 13 has always been one of the best laptops, and the Dell XPS 13 2019 continues the tradition. Read our Dell XPS 13 2019 review to see if it’s worth the cash.
For years, the Dell XPS 13 line has ranked among the best laptops on the market. And, the Dell XPS 13 (2019) doesn’t fall far from that tree, even going as far as to improve upon that legacy. Despite the tough new competition coming out of the high-end Ultrabook market, it has kept up with the times with some vital upgrades while still preserving everything we know and love about the line. By taking previous iterations and refining them in just the right areas – like returning the webcam to where it belongs, the Dell XPS 13 (2019) continues what made the XPS line so great in the first place. Add some new features and other improvements to the mix, like a significant boost to battery life, and you have a winner that’s able to keep up with some of the most powerful portables out there. If you want a top of the line Windows ultrabook – perhaps if you’re ready to move on from that Chromebook or Mac laptop – then the Dell XPS 13 (2019) is a more than worthy choice. Best yet, it’s expected to receive deep price cuts for both Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We recommend waiting until then to hit that buy button. Black Friday rolls around at the end of November and Cyber Monday is November 30, so you won’t have to wait for long. When it was first released, Dell was asking $978 for it in the US market, and that was for the XPS 13’s starting configuration. This price got you an 8th-generation Intel Core i3 processor, and just 4GB of 2,133MHz DDR3 memory as well as a 128GB PCIe SSD along with a 13.3-inch Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) InfinityEdge display. However, this model is no longer available on the Dell website. Right now, the US lineup starts at $1,149, which gets you an 8th-generation i5 coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. There are three more customizable models on hand, topping out with an 8th-generation quad-core Intel Core i7 CPU,16GB of RAM and a 2TB PCIe SSD – fitted with a stunning 4K (3,840 x 2,160) touch screen inside a Rose Gold or Frost White chassis.
