There were 13 new deaths reported by the county on Sunday, raising the total number of reported deaths to 2,638. The data on deaths in the county is compiled from death certificates or gathered through the course of case investigations and can take weeks to process. The most recent death recorded was on Jan.13. The county also reported 1,732 patients in local hospitals, which is 86 fewer than the previous report. There are 467 patients listed in intensive care units on Sunday. An estimated 31,427 cases of the virus have been recorded in Orange County in the last 14 days.
