While the more premium Galaxy S21 Ultra is equipped with everything Samsung had to offer, it still costs over Rs 1 lakh, keeping it out of most buyers’ reach. The most affordable of the lot is the Galaxy S21 which at Rs 69,999 is still quite expensive, despite the Korean smartphone maker cutting some corners. Over the next six months, this will Samsung’s biggest challenger to flagship-level smartphones from Chinese counterparts, most notably OnePlus and Xiaomi. The latter is yet to announce an India launch date for Mi 11 but several features and specs of the OnePlus have been leaked so far. So, if you are planning to buy a 2021 flagship smartphone without breaking the bank, should you spend on the Galaxy S21 or wait for the OnePlus 9? Read on to find out. Given that this is Samsung’s most premium line up, especially with the company shifting its focus from the Note series, one would expect special treatment to the design. That isn’t the case with the Galaxy S21. Blame it on the success of Galaxy S20 FE or just a poor strategy, the Galaxy S21 makes lot of sacrifices to keep its price down, which it fails to, as well.
