A new year means new processors, and Qualcomm got a little bit of a headstart with the introduction of the Snapdragon 888 back in December. Why does the 5nm process matter so much? Well, these new processors are intended to provide more efficient power usage, while providing a slight performance boost compared to chipsets built using the older 7nm process. Along with being more power-efficient, the Exynos 2100 also has an integrated 5G modem with support for both sub-6GHz and mmwave.
