Microsoft Edge Stable Now Fully Compatible with Apple Silicon

M1 chip support lands in the stable version of Edge
Microsoft has added full support for Apple Silicon in the latest version of Microsoft Edge, so the browser now runs natively on devices powered by the custom M1 chip. Microsoft was one of the first large developers to begin working on adding support for Apple Silicon to its software, and the Canary build of the browser received such capabilities shortly after the Cupertino-based tech giant started selling devices equipped with the M1 chip. Now that Microsoft Edge is fully compatible with Apple Silicon, Apple users are provided with a prompt when they install the browser, letting them choose between the standard version or the new build that is compatible for Macs with the new Apple chip.
