Amazon Postpones Annual Prime Day Sale in India Due to COVID-19 Second Wave

Considering that India is battling with COVID-19 second wave, Amazon has postponed its Prime Day sale in the country.
Amazon has paused its annual Prime Day sale in India, considering the rise of COVID-19 cases in the second wave. In the past week, India has reported 1.5 million new infections and record daily death tolls as hospitals run out of beds and medical oxygen. Considering that India is battling with COVID-19 second wave, the e-commerce giant has postponed its Prime Day sale in the country. Amazon however has not confirmed any rescheduled date for the Prime Day Sale. The Prime Day event is held by the e-commerce giant in July to boost sales, where we see multiple discounts on products. Amazon had first started the Prime Day sale in 2015.
