Dax Milne, a former Bingham High standout who started his career at BYU in Provo, Utah, as a walk-on, is headed on to the pros as an NFL draft selection.
Just like his quarterback, Dax Milne ’s NFL draft stock received a major boost from a breakout 2020 season. The BYU wide receiver is joining quarterback Zach Wilson as a draft pick as well, as Milne was taken by the Washington Football Team in the seventh round of the 2021 NFL draft on Saturday. The selection, the second-to-last of the event, was given an A-minus grade by CBS Sports’ Chris Trapasso. “Zach Wilson’s favorite target gets selected,” Trapasso wrote. “The Hunter Renfrow of this class. Smaller, but gets open and catches everything. Actually has some downfield juice.
