Then after another round of hot and humid conditions along with severe thunderstorms on Wednesday afternoon and evening, Tropical Storm Elsa could bring rain to the Bay State later this week. Elsa — or the storm’s remnants — is expected to track near southern New England sometime late Thursday night into Friday.
