Windows 10 cumulative update KB5005033 was released by Microsoft earlier this month as part of the August 2021 Patch Tuesday cycle, and in addition to several important fixes for the operating system, it looks like it’s also causing some problems on devices where it’s installed. More specifically, a report from WL points to a series of complaints coming from users whose devices are already running cumulative update KB5005033 and where the Alt + Tab experience has stopped working. As it turns out, cumulative update KB5005033 is the one to blame for the whole thing, as Alt + Tab is no longer working properly, and some users claim that uninstalling this update brings things back to normal.
