The premiere date: Monday, Sept.20 Taking place in the town of Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard, MA, an aspirational and historical community where the rich and powerful Black elite gather, OUR KIND OF PEOPLE, is a new drama starring Yaya DaCosta, Morris Chestnut, and more. It follows a strong-willed single mom and beauty entrepreneur as she sets out to reclaim her family’s name in this elite community. But she soon discovers a dark secret about her own mother’s past that will turn her world upside down.
