There’s still a week left in September that has seen plenty of big launches, including the new Apple hardware. And now Microsoft has joined the party with a handful of gadgets. This includes the new Surface Laptop Studio, Surface Pro 8, Surface Duo 2, Surface Go 3, Surface Pro X and more. The Surface Laptop Studio is a 2-in-1 machine designed to cater to both your laptop and tablet needs. Then there’s Surface Pro 8, which is getting a huge upgrade with a 120Hz 13-inch PixelSense display,11th gen Intel chipset and support for Thunderbolt 4. Microsoft has also launched a Slim Pen 2 that has a haptic motor to make one feel as if they are writing on paper. But that’s not it, Microsoft had more interesting launches lined up for the event, so keep reading to find out everything that was introduced at the Microsoft Surface event. The new Surface Laptop Studio takes over the Surface Book 3 with a complete overhaul. It comes in an interesting new design which is a mix of a Surface Book and the Microsoft Surface Studio. The design of this laptop allows it to be used in different configurations and also in tablet mode. The Surface Laptop Studio sports a 14.4-inch PixelSense Flow display with a screen resolution of 2400×1600 pixels. It has a 120Hz high refresh rate and is Dolby Vision certified. The laptop is offered with 11th gen Core i5 and Core i7 chipsets. While the former is paired with Intel XE graphics, the latter gets an Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti GPU.
