‘He would’ve been the best dad,’ the baby’s mom said of her fallen husband
The wife of a Marine killed last month in Afghanistan just gave birth to his daughter. Lance Cpl. Rylee McCollum was one of the 13 Marines killed getting soldiers, civilians and refugees out of Afghanistan last month. His wife, Jiennah Crayton gave birth to a baby girl Monday. The arrival of Levi Rylee Rose McCollum was announced by her grandmother Jill Miller Crayton, according to Task & Purpose. “She came roaring into this world and graced us all with her presence at 2:18 am this morning” the birth announcement said. The delivery at southern California’s Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton was described as “un medicated, light(n)ing quick” and the 8-pound,10-ounce girl has already been deemed perfect.
