Here’s some great news for music fans in the Triangle: Band Together and United Way of the Greater Triangle are hosting an in-person benefit concert Saturday evening. This year’s event, called Comeback Fest, is being held at Red Hat Amphitheater on Saturday, Oct.23, with doors opening at 5 p.m. The weather is ideal for an outdoor concert in downtown Raleigh, which will feature musicians like funk-soul trio Khruangbin, soul-revivalist Lee Fields and the Expressions, and legendary hip-hop MC Big Daddy Kane. Tickets are on-sale, and all profits will support Triangle recovery and stabilization now and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic.
