At least eight people died after a crowd surged toward the stage during the opening night of the festival on Friday night.
Officials said that 25 people were arrested following the opening night of Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival in Houston, when a stampede left eight people dead and many more injured. During a press conference Saturday, Houston Police Chief Troy Finner said that 23 people were arrested for trespassing, one for public intoxication, and one for possession of marijuana. It’s unclear if the charges are related to the panic-induced incident that killed the victims, who were between the ages of 14 and 27.
