Corbin Burnes was named the National League Cy Young Award winner Wednesday by the Baseball Writers Association of America.
Two years removed from being arguably one of the worst pitchers in all of baseball, Corbin Burnes was named the National League Cy Young Award winner by the Baseball Writers Association of America. Burnes, who led the NL with a 2.35 ERA while posting am 11-5 record and 234 strikeouts this season, finished with 151 votes, narrowly edging out second-place finisher Zack Wheeler of the Phillies.
