An elderly man is dead after an Amtrak train traveling from Boston to Brunswick, Maine, Monday struck his pickup truck. The 83-year-old man, who has not been named publicly, was the only one in the vehicle when it “went through the gate” and ended up on train tracks in Haverhill, Mass.
