Qualcomm has announced Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 and Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3 processors for always-connected devices.
Recently, at the Snapdragon Tech Summit, Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 flagship processor for smartphones and soon after the announcement, Realme, Xiaomi, Oppo, OnePlus, and more brands announced their phones with the new Snapdragon SoC will be unveiled soon. Now, Qualcomm has announced Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 and the Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3 processors for laptops and Chromebooks with improvements over its predecessor. Here is everything you need to know about the newly launched processors. The new Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 is built for always-on, always-connected PCs. The chipset is built on a 5nm process and is rated to deliver performance boosts of up to 57% and up to 85% faster compared to the second-gen chipset. It also brings 60% GPU performance improvement. Qualcomm also claims, it supports up to 25+ hours on a single charge.
