Realme GT 2 Pro was expected to debut at an event in China today but the company limited it to just the innovations the flagship is set to bring. At the event, Realme also said the GT 2 series will be launching soon, but with no exact date announced. We can probably speculate the phones will debut in the first quarter of 2022 and will launch in India as well. The Realme GT 2 Pro is confirmed to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset. It is said to be the world’s first phone to come with new bio-based material, which the brand calls ‘Paper Tech Master’ design. This material and developed in association with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. Realme has introduced a new retail box for the GT 2 Pro, with plastic usage reduced from 21.7 percent to just 0.3 percent. Realme GT 2 Pro’s design is inspired by paper, with a premium minimalist look to reduce carbon emission. The company is exploring a sustainable product design as a step towards a greener environment. It says that 3.5 million bottles are reduced for every 1 million Realme GT 2 Pro units sold. Realme is collaborating with Sabic, a prominent global materials company.
