Apple likely to introduce three models in September
The Apple Watch has become a first-class citizen of Apple’s device family, so the company is working on some pretty big upgrades for the upcoming generation. Mark Gurman of Bloomberg says in his newsletter that Apple will take the wraps off a total of three different Apple Watch models this year It all starts with the new Apple Watch Series 8. While it’s still not clear if Apple still wants to bring the new design that was originally expected in 2021 (with straight edges a la iPhone 12), Gurman says the device will be the biggest upgrade since the debut of the original Apple Watch.
