You’ll notice that there’s no « Mi » in these names – as the company dropped the Mi branding when the Mix 4 was announced. Subsequent handsets are following suit, including the Xiaomi 12 series. Xiaomi revealed these flagship handsets at the tail-end of December in China, with an international launch, confirmed for 15 March 2022. Here’s everything you need to know. For the time being, the Xiaomi 12 series is launching exclusively in mainland China, with pricing starting at ¥3,199 for the 12X, ¥3,699 for the 12, and ¥4,699 for the 12 Pro.
